Access to Safe Water
Project Overview:
This project aimed to strengthen water quality management, upgrade WASH infrastructure in schools, and enhance emergency preparedness and response systems. With a focus on sustainability, inclusiveness, and resilience, the project addressed critical gaps in access to safe water and sanitation, especially for vulnerable populations, including children and disaster-prone communities. The initiative was aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and integrated climate-resilient and community-driven approaches.
Project Objectives:
- Increase Capacity to Improve Water Quality and Functionality
- Upgrade WASH Facilities in Schools in Line with the Three-Star Approach
- Strengthen the Emergency Preparedness and Response System
