NEEDS Nepal is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that has been actively working in the social sector for the past 22 years. The organization was established in 1999 as a youth group and has since then engaged in various social transformation, good governance, and development initiatives. NEEDS Nepal is registered with the Government of Nepal and has partnered with numerous government and non-government agencies to implement programs that focus on empowerment, socio-economic development, and social transformation for marginalized and vulnerable communities such as children, women, persons with disabilities, Dalit, and Indigenous people.
The organization operates in the Sudurpaschim Province and implements programs that address different social aspects and disasters. These programs include social awareness, good governance, safe migration, livelihood, disaster risk reduction, WASH, and entrepreneurship initiatives that align with the policies and programs of the Government of Nepal. Through its partnerships and programs, NEEDS Nepal aims to contribute to the overall development of Nepal and improve the quality of life for marginalized and vulnerable communities.
