NEEDS Nepal is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that has been actively working in the social sector for the past 22 years. The organization was established in 1999 as a youth group and has since then engaged in various social transformation, good governance, and development initiatives. NEEDS Nepal is registered with the Government of Nepal and has partnered with numerous government and non-government agencies to implement programs that focus on empowerment, socio-economic development, and social transformation for marginalized and vulnerable communities such as children, women, persons with disabilities, Dalit, and Indigenous people.
The organization operates in the Sudurpaschim Province and implements programs that address different social aspects and disasters. These programs include social awareness, good governance, safe migration, livelihood, disaster risk reduction, WASH, and entrepreneurship initiatives that align with the policies and programs of the Government of Nepal. Through its partnerships and programs, NEEDS Nepal aims to contribute to the overall development of Nepal and improve the quality of life for marginalized and vulnerable communities.
What we do?
NEEDS Nepal is a non-governmental organization that is working towards improving the lives of people living in Sudhurpaschim province of Nepal. This region is one of the most remote and underdeveloped areas of Nepal, and NEEDS Nepal is playing a crucial role in providing assistance and support to the people living in this region. One of the main areas of focus for NEEDS Nepal is poverty alleviation. NEEDS Nepal is working to promote education and improve access to education, particularly for girls and women who often face barriers to education due to cultural and economic factors. The organization has set up healthcare facilities and programs that provide healthcare services to people living in remote areas.
